A Personal Path Into Nursing
I knew I wanted to become a nurse from a young age. My older brother was born with a rare leukodystrophy that later left him wheelchair-bound. Watching the care he needed shaped the way I saw nursing and inspired me to become the kind of nurse who could make a difference—not only for patients, but also for the families who love them.
I began my nursing career as an LPN before continuing my education to become a registered nurse. Over the years, I have cared for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including ICU/PCU, Medical-Surgical, Medical Telemetry, Step-Down, and Dialysis.
Through my own journey in nursing, I also came to understand how overwhelming nursing school and NCLEX preparation can feel. There is so much information to learn, so many resources to choose from, and often no clear direction on what to focus on next.
WHY I CREATED XPERT NURSING

I created XPERT Nursing because I have always loved educating, encouraging, and coaching others. After stepping away from my role as an Assistant Nurse Manager, I felt called to build something meaningful that could help future nurses feel more supported throughout their journey.
My goal is not simply to help you memorize information. I want to help you understand the “why” behind the content, connect the pieces, and build the confidence to apply what you know when it matters most.
